
Two eggs poached in spiced tomato sauce with a little feta. Warm, soft, and protein-rich.
Shakshuka is specifically called out in GLP-1 meal plans. The soft eggs in warm sauce go down easy.
Serves 1 · 5 min prep · 15 min cook
Heat 1 tsp olive oil in a small pan. Add 1 minced garlic clove and cook 30 seconds.
Add 200g canned chopped tomatoes, half tsp cumin, half tsp paprika, pinch of chilli flakes. Simmer 8 minutes.
Make 2 wells in the sauce. Crack an egg into each.
Cover and cook 5-6 minutes until eggs are set but yolks are still soft.
Crumble 15g feta on top. Eat straight from the pan with a small piece of bread.
